Product Description

Product Description The Ultra Woofer dog chew toy offers your dog longer lasting playtime with a hard chew strength. The wide ends of the toy make it harder to get to the ultra- thick treat rings so your dog will be chewing on it for an ultra-long time. The Ultra Woofer is made from nylon and durable vanilla-scented rubber with natural corn starch treat rings that are 4x thicker than the regular Busy Buddy rawhide rings. Both the toy itself, as well as the corn starch treat rings are 100% natural. The natural vanilla scent encourages your dog to play with the toy. This dog toy weighs 0.11 kg and is suitable for dogs under 5 kg. sadly none of my 3 dogs will touch it (lab, lab/setter and pup). i think the scent of the rubber is too strong- they'll eat the treat well enough on it's own, and they're happy enough to work on the starmark toys so i can only think the scent masks the treat. i've tried smearing with peanut butter, they'll lick that off but then leave it be. i bought loads of spare treats so will need to invent a new toy myself to save spending on another contraption they won't touch.otherwise the thing seems pretty sturdy, quite heavy which is probably no bad thing. smaller than i expected. overpowering "vanilla" scent which i don't mind per se but blame for the dogs not bothering with it. the screw on part seems well made and the rubber is quite hard.BTW a note for those who have success with this, the STARMARK TREAT RINGS fit really nicely on this (sorry, petsafe, but it's true) and are much smaller (see pic), so harder for dog to get (if they're actually into it at all) and means they can't crunch it off like that lab has in one of the customer pics!Photos: with starmark treat ring, and peanut butter residue, now abandoned. And MEDIUM atop a labrador noggin for size comparison.Dogs live this I give when I’m going out so they have something to occupy them. It does the trick and lasts. I’ve got a few by this brand and are really strong.Having read all the reviews prior to purchasing, I thought this would be an ideal 'Christmas present' for our 4 month old puppy to chew on. However, he has shown absolutely no interest in it whatsoever! I even unscrewed the ends to take the supposedly edible parts off, he visibly turned his nose up at it and walked away. This is the first toy I've given him that he hasn't wanted to put in his mouth! It does have a very strong rubbery smell (I think it's meant to be vanilla but just smells like rubber to me) but looks like it should be a robust toy, should he ever decide to chomp on it!So expensive for something that my seven month old retriever destroyed in three hours! Couldn't believe it. He loved it, but had the plastic bits bitten to sharp pieces in no time, literally three hours. I'll be avoiding this make from now on.Our dog loves this. She usually destroys everything but this is still going strong
