Fox Mulder is a very detailed addition to the Funko Pop Vinyl collection. I love how they even have a little illustration of the Pop Vinyl Mulder's head on the FBI ID that is hanging on his suit. Funko Figures aren't supposed to look exactly like the character from the movie/TV show they are from, they all share the same look of a wide oversized head, with black eyes, the same nose and no mouth. So they're basically the Funko character dressed as the movie or in this case TV character. But that Funko character has a very good resemblance to Mulder including the 90's hair gel styled hair.Mulder Pop Vinyl comes holding a gun, in fact he has a finger on the trigger. The gun itself has a fair bit of detail, with ridges, rectangles and stuff making it look fairly real. I would have liked them to have included Mulder's phone in his other hand. Back in the mid 90's when mobile phones were expensive and a phone call on one cost you about half as much as your landline phone bill, this was a show that made everyone (us teens at least) really want to have a mobile phone simply to look cool. When they upgraded to a flip phone on the show, everyone then wanted one of those. In fact when anyone got a phone often they would often answer it "Hey Scully!" But alas Mulder's other hand is simply clenched. Mulder's blue suit looks pretty good, he's even wearing a belt that looks like it has a little bit of wear on it. His dark and light blue striped tie and light blue business shirt also look quite good. If you're unfamiliar with these Pop Vinyls everything is the one plastic mold, the clothes aren't material or anything and you can't take them off. Likewise the gun is permanently attached to his hand and his arms can't be moved, they are always in that pose. You can however rotate his head, in fact Mulder's head can rotate 180 degrees so if he ever become possessed like in the Exorcist, he will be able to prove that to the unbelievers out there. Mulder stands up no problem at all on a flat surface.If you haven't bought any Pop Vinyls before be aware that paint blemishes are always going to be an issue with these figures and it's going to be a bit of gamble unfortunately to where they appear on the figure you get. My Mulder has a bit of green paint on the underside of his head. Even if you buy your Funko figures from physical stores there's often blemishes on the back you can't see without opening the packaging, although the packaging is well designed to be opened without damaging it so you are seeing more and more people asking the staff if they can open them and show them the figure before purchasing. Sometimes though you can get really lucky and the pop vinyl can be pretty much blemish free.The box is great packaging that I really wish other figure manufacturers would learn from. As I said you can open the box, slide out the blister and remove the figure without damaging the box at all. There isn't even any tape or anything to cut. Then you can put the figure back inside if you decide to display it that way. You can view the figure from the front and one side of the box through the clear window. On the back of the box are Mulder and the three other characters from The X-Files as Funko figures released at the same time. The boxes stack well on top of each other too, that's why it's great that the packaging design lets you can change your mind at how you want to display these Funkos.this is an okay funko in terms of quality. the skin color of mulder is more pinkish than appears in the product image. the painting of the hair is not completely shaded on my figure, so you can almost see a light tan color underneath. in addition, this is not a bobble head, which i thought it would be. the head is firmly attached.however despite those shortcomings, the rest of the figure is impressively detailed, especially mulder's gun and fbi badge.overall, for the low price that i paid, this is a nice bobblehead.I got this as a gift for my uncle who introduced me to the X-files and he absolutely, in his words, "bloody loved it!". It also came in really good condition.Item was received as advertised. Item was packaged well and arrived in excellent condition.I have always been a big fan of theX-Files. I watched every season of this strange, but wonderful show. I love agentMulder,and I love science fiction. They made me believe!!!I love the little Funko pop character, he is so adorable. When I recieve him throughThe mail and open my package, he was in excellent shape, an also the box he came in.The back was a bit bent but looks amazing and came a lot sooner then I expectedAh! I just love silly thing like this! I'm very happy with this purchase and, although I purchased it as a gift, I highly considered keeping it for myself. This is a wonderful gift for anyone who is a fan or the show.I love this Fox Mulder character from the X-Files series. It is a good quality item. I would definitely buy other Funko-Pop items of the same quality.Arrived on time and well packed.Bought used from amazon warehouse. As described, the box was a bit cosmetically damaged, but the model inside was OK.Personally, I like figurines/statutes/models - I used to make them for a hobby - but I generally like them in scale, realistically proportioned and detailed. So I didn't used to particularly like the 'giant headed' disproportioned funko POPs. However, recently, I've been buying a few as xmas presents for people who do, and I have to say they are starting to grow on me - so, being an X-Files fan, this one is for me.The problem I sometimes have with Funko POPs is, with the face being so deliberately bland you're normally relying on other cues to identify the character, No problem with Mulder as this model has enough cues (pose, hairstlye, suit, badge ....) to be instantly recognisable.I like it, and may treat myself to a Scully to keep it company.It's cute enough but I have a big suspicion this is a fake product and not genuine as sold by "Cambria Health Group". Firstly the box itself feels cheap and tacky and not at all like the box of the definitely genuine Funko Voldemort I bought at WB Studios. Secondly the quality of the product is pretty dreadful, there is dried glue all over it, the FBI badge is missing a corner and was in fact peeling off when I first took it out and had to be pressed back into place. The paint also oversteps it's boundaries and is in places it shouldn't be, most of this is fairly unnoticeable but there is a glaring bit of green paint under the chin which is incredibly visible and really ruins this as a display piece. Maybe I just got a duff one but I'm not pleased with this at all.Big fan of the show so had to get all the X-files pops including Mulder of course! The truth is out there and they are still trying to find it. Fox looks good in his FBI suit and carrying his gun. Good paint job on the pop and the box was perfect.Product fun and excited when it arrived, however, delivery the same amount as actual product? Pretty cheeky to charge that much.Great addition to my collection.I loved the x-files for a long time - reboot here I come.
