Not like described. No heartbeat included, and warming pack is a cheap bag of pellets? to warm up? And a zipper for the puppy to chew on. No instructions. Very disappointed! Don't buy this! My dog just wants to hump it.The item description is deceptive. There is no heartbeat. There is a fabric heart sewn in the dog. The heat source is a bag of rocks that you microwaveThis is very misleading ..there is no heart beat, even though it shows a heart. I sent it back. This is very cute and probably works for many puppy. My pup hates her crate and nothing works to calm her so far. I don’t blame this toyGot this for our new puppy. The heartbeat was very soothing at night. We even turned it on to get her to settle after getting to excited during the day. Now she plays with lamb even though it's still bigger than her. She also loves the toys and blanket it came with. Huge hit and I highly recommend!!Update: As your puppy gets older try hiding a treat in the pocket. My dog is obsessed! Keeps her entertained for a while and I didn't have to go buy another toy. What good is this with no heart just got mine today very disappointedI had very mixed feelings about buying this. Some reviews were really positive and others left me really concerned. Thank goodness we are in the wooohooo category. When I picked up my puppy yesterday at 10 weeks he was obviously really excited about being in the car. When i put heartbeat sheep next to him on within 1 minute he was snuggled up to it and slept.....for the 3 hour car journey back!!!! Yes he woke but moved slightly and zonked!Everytime he goes next to it he is asleep in less than 1 minute. Crazy! And so good!!! He chews the ears and tail but hasn't been interested in chewing the body.I don't know how long it will last or how much puppy attacking it will take but it has made such a massive impact on his life making the transition seemless!Edited - 2 weeks on the indestructible rope toys are in tatters but heartbeat sheep lives on (with a little bit of a chewed ear).Super disappointed with it. It arrived yesterday and in less than 10min my puppy had chewed the teddy’s nose open and inside is full of fluff so not suitable for pets at all! They can easily chocke with the fluff inside and easily bite into it. The heart is battery operated so really not safe when your pet manages to easily get the heart out and chew on a battery operated device. This toy has been a god send for our new puppy. We picked her up at 8 weeks old. I genuinely believe this sheep was the reason the 1.5hr car journey home was such a breeze. We nestled our pup between the heartbeat sheep and the toy the breeder gave us that smelt of her mum and after about 5 mins of crying she fell asleep for the remainder of the trip. It also really aided quiet nights for us when crate training her. She’s tugged and pulled at it a few times since but not that roughly and no damage has been done. I’ve felt very comfortable leaving it in her crate overnight but then she’s pretty well behaved. It’s true a puppy could probably quite easily get to the mechanism inside if they were quite rough players. But we’ve kind of trained our pup to only have this toy for sleep time or car journeys, as a comforter as opposed to a toy. We never leave it with her when she’s got the zoomies and bouncing off the walls. I would highly recommend this product if only for the initial first few days with your new puppy for the car journey home and snoozing in the crate.I was dubious about this, but I have an 8 week old puppy with seperation anxiety, so was keen to try anything. We have had 15 mins+ of howling on previous occassions, so need something to try for all our sanity. The toy arrived and we tried it out with puppy in the cage. She was initially rather intrigued about the heartbeat and wanted to 'play' as if it were alive. However, we put her in the cage with lamb and left her to it for a few minutes. She squealed for about 30 seconds, then lay down and cuddled it and was asleep almost instantly. As other users have identified, this isn't robust, and isn't a toy, so shouldn't be used for 'play', or when left unattended, but is a godsend for calming a puppy down.
